HOF started back then in August 2015 after the camp meeting of Mtongwe SDA church in south coast Mombasa. It was a Brainchild of two young men who had the passion and zeal to work for God mainly through singing. Later the next month other members including ladies were invited to form the team. It came to full operations in February 2016 after attaining the stipulated guidelines for the registration of groups.

The Name Heroes of faith came in place from the testimonies of great things the Lord had done to us at individual and group levels. It was coined from Hebrews  11 of the patriarchs of faith, indeed so far the good reports and goodwill we have been receiving only the FAITH we profess can warrant.

The group has Moved from a few members to a total of 35 people forming the choir team and a total of 52 members forming the Associate’s team.

HOF has 3 ARMS, that is :

1. GOD as the sole Sponsor
2. CHOIR – Main Work singing
3. ASSOCIATES [choir and others who don’t sing]- Main work playing an advisory role and keeping the team in check morally, spiritually, and all-round

So far through teamwork and the grace of God, we have achieved a lot in terms of conducting outdoor ministries like visiting the needy, sick, and bereaved, conducting crusades, recording songs and doing videos, and circulating to all corners of the world, operating an online TV, etc  Mathew 28:19.
